The Brainy Tutor was created because a need was recognized that students lacked skills and self-esteem they needed to be successful. Your success means our success. Our speciality is Math and Science. All the tutors working at The Brainy Tutor are either degreed or certified in either Math or Science. So, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Patience Odede is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University with A Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor concentration in Math and Chemistry. For as long as she can remember, math has always been her favorite subject. She has never made a grade of less than an A in any Mathematics course including calculus. She is thankful to her parternal Aunt, who showed her at a young age that math was fun, and that she had every reason to love it. That is what she instills in her students, a love for math. Patience Odede has worked in several Biotechnology Industries as a Research Assistant and really loved it, that is; until she had a family and chose to stay home with her two boys.
After spending a lot of time with her kids for years, she realized that she really love kids, not just her kids , but all children especially students. She has always loved and enjoyed working with people which had led her to her choice of a college major of Biology. She made a decision to substitute at a nearby school district once her oldest child went to Kindergarten and really loved it. Then her love for math and people was rekindled. That is how The Brainy Tutor was born.
Thank God for friends and family because it was her family and close friends that helped her to get to this stage, through their encouragement, love and support.
Because she loves her boys so much, she started this company to help her care for them, not only financially, but also emotionally, physically and spiritually. She wants to be available to take them to school and pick them up from school. She believes every mother has this desire. The only way she could visualize herself doing that was to bring to birth The Brainy Tutor. Patience Odede really believes that teaching, tutoring and coaching is her calling from God.
The Brainy Tutor will be catering to children of all ages. Elementary, High school and College. Patience Odede knows exactly what it takes for students to succeed. She was once a student, now she is a mum and a teacher, so you could say, she is really experienced. She doesn’t work alone. She has her staff, family and friends that will continue to show her love and support.

I just wanted to thank Patience Odede for creating such a wonderful program. I can truly say this program has been a blessing. At the beginning of the school year, my son was doing good in his Algebra class, then I noticed that his grades started to drop. He would stay after school and ask for help and received it, but I could tell by the grades he was getting that there was a problem.
So as not to frustrate him any further, I immediately contacted Patience Odede, to inquire if she could help. My son immediately started receiving tutoring sessions and believe it or not, I could tell from a couple of sessions that he was getting back on track. His grades started improving and his self confident was back.
He still continues to be tutored by Patience Odede and she is working with him each week step by step and I love the way she monitors his progress and coordinates with his Math teacher so that they are all on the same path.
